Job Purpose

If so, then we would love to hear from you… We are seeking an HR Manager – Policy to complement our team of HR policy experts within our HR Compensation & Benefits department. The department is a centre of excellence on pay, benefits, HR policies and HR good practice, and supports the organisation’s HR Business Partners and line departments directly. The HR Policy team’s focus is predominantly global HR policy governance, design, development and communication. As HR Manager – Policy, you will provide comprehensive support to Manager HR Policy on the research, design, creation and publication of global HR policy for the Emirates Group, providing the framework to empower line managers and enable good business decisions. Critical to this is the modernisation of style, content, language and accessibility to ensure HR policies are fit for current and future purpose, and align with the business and HR strategy. You will ensure our HR policy is compliant with local legislation, aligned to our corporate philosophy and changing business needs. You will have successfully lead a team of HR professionals who speak highly of your leadership skills and possess excellent project and time management skills including the ability to plan and prioritise work, and to meet deadlines under pressure. You will be a strong influencer who can drive change appropriately.
Qualifications & Experience
Human Resources.Manpower Planning : 8+ Years Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : Knowledge/Skills: Experience of policy design and implementation. Previous experience in an HR policy role or as an HR Business Partner. Project management experience and a track record of designing and implementing complex projects. Ability to apply professional/specialist knowledge to analyse complex problems and recommend solutions/plans of action. HR Systems knowledge, with previous experience of partnering with an IT function on system solutions. Proven experience of working pro-actively and in partnership with colleagues in other work areas. High level of written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present complex information in a concise and user-friendly way. Ability to provide accurate and timely specialist guidance on complex issues. Ability to use influencing and negotiating skills to develop understanding and gain co-operation. Should be confident and professional.
